'Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel' Out Now!

22 May 08

A laptop indie labyrinth of smeared pop songs, narcotized mantras and ghost stories; things coming apart in the most ravishing way possible.” The Guardian

"Bradford Cox's solo debut shows one genius in his bedroom can produce a sound as big and weird as the galaxy. Drenched in colour, it's shoe gaze pop of the highest order." Dazed & Confused

"Laptop dream pop." Observer Music Monthly

"Sensual, submarine weirdness." NME

"Challenging and beautiful." Clash

"(Let The Blind...) will compel you wherever it turns." Plan B

Atlas Sound’s Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel was finally released outside North America this month and for the uninitiated, Atlas Sound is the solo project of Deerhunter frontman / provocateur Bradford Cox. Since the record’s original release in the States back in February, Let The Blind… has been steadily converting ears and garnering much praise like the choice quotes above.

In addition, the European version of the album differs from the US version by having a second disc of bonus material added and different artwork courtesy of long time 4AD collaborators, v23. Click here to hear one of the bonus album tracks, “Another Bedroom.”

Like labelmate Bon Iver, Bradford Cox is also over in Europe this month for a full tour of the continent…
