New Single & UK Tour

Today sees Emma Pollock release a new single from her acclaimed debut album Watch The Fireworks.
"Paper And Glue" is one of those songs whose timeless melodic lines and classic, effervescent structure make it both instantly familiar and endlessly welcome. It's joined by another fizzing Pollock original, "I Have A Double", which is exclusive to this release.
The single arrives in the midst of a period of frenetic activity for Emma; she has just spent a month on tour in the USA combining solo shows with a string of dates in the company of The New Pornographers.
Last week, she embarked on another tour which started in Europe; after a visit to France and Holland, she now returns to the UK for her second headlining tour of the year. Emma will round off 2007 with a quick, pre-Christmas jaunt round her native Scotland.
At the beginning of this new renewed bout of perpetual motion, Emma and her band somehow found time to visit the BBC studio in Manchester to perform live on Radio Two's Radcliffe And Maconie show.
