The next single to be taken from Daughter’s debut album If You Leave is ‘Human’.
Daughter is the London-based trio consisting of Elena Tonra (vocals, guitar), Swiss-born Igor Haefeli (guitar) and French native Remi Aguilella (drums). Starting life in 2010, Daughter released two EPs His Young Heart (April 2011) and The Wild Youth (late-2011) before signing to 4AD in 2012. In their short career the young trio have managed to gain a loyal following. With numerous sold-out shows under their belts (they recently headlined the 1,300-capacity Hackney Empire in London) and a steadily growing fanbase, it’s no real surprise that their debut long-player If You Leave entered the Top 20 in the UK album charts in its first week of release.
