The new studio album by The National, entitled High Violet, will be released this week on 4AD (worldwide from tomorrow). High Violet’s eleven tracks were recorded at the band’s own studio in Brooklyn, with further recording and mixing at Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, Connecticut with Peter Katis. Bloodbuzz Ohio will be the first single from the album.
