Ariel Pink - Watch 'Picture Me Gone' Video, EU Tour Scheduled
Ariel Pink : Watch 'Picture Me Gone' Video, EU Tour Scheduled
4th November 2014

With forthcoming record pom pom approaching release, Ariel Pink has aired the video for new single 'Picture Me Gone'.

Following 'Put Your Number In My Phone', Ariel has again joined forces with director Grant Singer to produce a film for his latest track.  Shot across fifteen locations in Ariel's hometown of Los Angeles, the video features the characters Pam, Candace and Heather squeezing into their second lives within a latex skin, in pursuit of sexual encounters and inner content.  The video features a familiar face in the form of a latex mask of Ariel's face, moulded by Hollywood SFX supremo Jeff Farley.

Grant Singer, directing his second video from the album, says the film "follows a day in the life of three men in Los Angeles in their search of meaning and happiness."  You can watch the full video on 4AD's YouTube channel here, or in the player below.

Also announced today is a full European tour next year, following January/February's Australian and US shows which were announced last month.  Ariel and his new seven-piece band headline a sold-out London Scala show on pom pom's release day, alongside a hometown show at the Los Angeles Regent Theatre on 28th November.  All the dates can be found below the video, along with the previously detailed international dates, or you can find all on Ariel's site here.

Last month also saw footage of Ariel performing with the P.S.22 children's choir, delivering new versions of 'Picture Me Gone' and album track 'Jell-O'.  You can watch the footage via Pitchfork here
