Describing the record as "convincing enough to cast Herndon as a musician with more to say than her abstraction suggests", it follows on the heels of a wealth of favourable press for the record, along with a fascinating feature in The Guardian - reflecting that "Herndon’s ultimate triumph though is to show that thought and action can meet on the dancefloor, somewhere generally associated with hedonistic escape".
