Code of Conduct
4AD is committed to anti-racism, anti-sexism and equality among its staff and artists. As an independent label, as part of the Beggars Group, and as individual staff members we actively participate in and donate to numerous charities and causes, and we are committed to continuing to do so in the future. 4AD won't always post updates on social channels, which we use primarily to amplify our artists' voices, but we will update this page regularly with our ongoing commitments and engagement with our community. We hope to use this page to ensure we are accountable to our artists, to our fans and to ourselves.
Please beware of scams from people purporting to work for us, have access to our staff and manage our studio spaces. We would never ask anyone to pay money to submit music or to work with us. We kindly ask that should anyone approach you in such a way that you don’t engage with them and forward any correspondence to [email protected].
If you have something you'd like to discuss or bring to our attention, please contact us in confidence at [email protected]
