With the news of Daughter's second album Not To Disappear arriving a couple of weeks ago, the group have detailed an extensive run of European shows in early 2016.
With the album scheduled for release in January, Daughter will celebrate the record by starting the tour on release day in Cambridge on 15th January, before playing a further eleven UK shows. They'll play a headline show at London's Forum on the 28th January. They'll then head to mainland Europe for a string of shows, including performances in Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam. Daughter will also play three intimate shows in Glasgow, Bristol and London next month to celebrate the new record, with all shows now sold out.
Tickets will be onsale from 9am local time on Friday 23rd October, with Songkick hosting an exclusive presale on Wednesday 21st. All links and details are at the band's website here.
Not To Disappear is Daughter’s second album and finds the band making confident strides forward both sonically and lyrically. Elena, Igor and Remi spent a summer in New York recording Not To Disappear with Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, War On Drugs, Animal Collective) at his Rare Book Room studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The first single 'Doing The Right Thing' is now available to stream via Spotify here, or you can watch the beautiful video (directed by Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth) below.
Not To Disappear will be released digitally and on CD and LP on 15th January 2016.
