Their debut album Shrines was released in 2012, and earned them Pitchfork’s Best New Music, the #1 spot on iTunes' Electronic chart and praise from New York Times, Rolling Stone, NPR and more. The release was followed by a sold-out headlining world tour and festival performances at Coachella, Pitchfork, Bonnaroo and more.
In the past year the duo have collaborated with hip hop provocateur Danny Brown on his single '25 Bucks'. Megan is featured in the video and also performed the song with Brown on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Purity Ring also featured on Jon Hopkins’ song 'Breathe This Air'.
