When a demo tape arrived in 1986 from Brighton's Frazier Chorus, Ivo liked it enough to put the band in the studio with producer Gil Norton, who would go on to work extensively with the Pixies. 

When a demo tape arrived in 1986 from Brighton's Frazier Chorus, Ivo liked it enough to put the band in the studio with producer Gil Norton, who would go on to work extensively with the Pixies. ‘Sloppy Heart’ was the result, a delightful piece of flute-driven pastoral pop, but it was to be the band's only 4AD release, as they signed to Virgin shortly afterwards.
