Today, Big Thief announce a Noon Chorus live-stream concert on 29th April.
+ Tickets are available here +
In North America there will be two airings at 7 pm EDT and 7 pm PDT, which will rebroadcast for 48 hours, plus separate broadcasts for Europe and Asia/Australia will also be available. The stream will feature a start-to-finish recording of Big Thief's last pre-pandemic US performance in Columbus, OH in November 2019, which Stereogum raved about, writing “the passion they incite within listeners, and within each other, suggests they will always command an audience this worshipful.”
The footage gives fans an intimate look at the band in the moments leading up to the concert, and features performances of songs spanning all four of the band's critically acclaimed releases to date.
The concert film was directed by Adam Gunderscheimer and edited by Vanessa Haddad. Audio was recorded, mixed and mastered by Phil Weinrobe. The live-stream comes on the heels of Adrianne Lenker’s songs and instrumentals (produced by Weinrobe) and Buck Meek’s Two Saviors.
