ATP today announced that The National will be curating their annual December festival at Butlins, Minehead, in what will also be the band's only UK show of 2012. The festival will take place on the weekend of 7th-9th December and tickets go on sale this Friday 20 January at 2pm via www.ATPFestival.com.
The first group of artists have been confirmed today and are listed below. In total the line-up will feature 40 live acts playing across the weekend on three indoor stages. The event will also feature DJs until late, Cinema chosen by The National and Book Club curated by The National.

The National are now working on a new album having officially signed High Violet off with a triumphant week of shows at New York's Beacon Theatre last month. Aaron and Bryce Dessner also return to the UK in February with their The Long Count project to play a series of shows at The Barbican. Full details and tickets available here.
