Lo-Fang's debut album Blue Film is released today.
With the LA Times lauding the record as "an early contender for debut of the year" and NYLON remarking on “a chillingly beautiful realism that penetrates your very being”, Matthew Hemerlein's first record is available to purchase digitally and on CD today, with the limited blue vinyl to follow from next week in the US at the 4AD Store and in all good record shops. Full links below. To celebrate the release, Lo-Fang will appear on the Late Show With David Letterman on CBS tonight (25th February) playing previous single '#88', whilst he'll also perform a very special live show at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, NY in association with radio.com.
Yesterday morning, Lo-Fang appeared on Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW where he performed a number of songs including album track 'Permutations', which you can now watch below. Footage from Letterman will follow tomorrow.
Rounding off the week, Lo-Fang will play a Record Release Show at Baby's All Right on Friday 28th February, with support from Kate Berlant. Tickets are available here.
