Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti: 'Baby'
9th July 2012
This summer, West Coast natives Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti will present Mature Themes, the follow-up to 2010’s hugely successful album, Before Today. First single, ‘Baby’, is Mature Themes’ swansong, and a reworking of the song originally recorded in 1979 by Donnie and Joe Emerson. Haunted Graffiti protagonist, Ariel Pink (real surname Rosenberg), has said “’Baby’ has been a staple on just about every playlist and mixtape I’ve assembled in the last three years. It is nothing short of sublime.” Recorded and produced by the band in downtown LA, the song will be available as a limited A-side-only 12” single on July 9th. Mature Themes will be released on August 20th.
