A week after launching the first of his four 4AD Session videos, SOHN has premiered the second instalment, a live rendition of ‘The Wheel’, via Noisey today.
In contrast to the monochrome ‘Artifice’ (the opening track of SOHN’s 4AD Session), ‘The Wheel’ is rendered in stark colour by the director, Austrian filmmaker Andreas Waldshuetz, who was inspired by the visual styling in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Parts three and four of the 4AD Session will be revealed over the next fortnight. Full credits and details on SOHN's 4AD Session are available here.
‘The Wheel’ and ‘Artifice’ both feature on SOHN’s debut album, Tremors, due to be released in the week commencing 7th April. You can pre-order the album from all the usual outlets, including the 4AD Store, iTunes and Amazon.
Also launched last week, you can create your own version of the Tremors artwork and submit for your chance to win gig tickets and records. Download the template, and see the other entries, by heading to sohnmusic.com/tremorsfeed.
