With over 800 shows under their belt, Baltimore post-wave band Future Islands made their TV debut on the Late Show with David Letterman last night performing 'Seasons (Waiting On You)'. See their performance below.
Today they unveil 'A Dream Of You And Me' with a homespun visual accompaniment created by Future Islands bassist William Cashion and illustrator Elena Johnston. The trio will release their new album Singles in the week commencing 24th March.
The band kicks off a 48 date US tour tonight in Asheville, NC including stops at Coachella and sold out shows in New York (Webster Hall), Portland (Doug Fir Lounge), San Francisco (The Chapel) and more. They will make their SXSW debut next week performing at the 4AD Official Showcase (details here), Spotify House, the Pitchfork Day Party, KCRW Official Showcase, SPIN Day Party and Under The Radar Party with more to be announced soon.
