Swapping city life for the calm of Svendborg (an ancient coastal town in Denmark’s South Eastern corner), Søren has found the perfect balance. You can hear it too with this, th.e first music to be heard from these sessions.
Opening with ‘Ambitions’, a track that charts the hard yards that accompanied his travels and missing home, it slowly builds its euphoric charm in a way only Scandinavian artists seem capable of; ‘Manly Beach’ demonstrates Søren’s progress, confidently mixing piano, keys and strings; while EP closer ‘Soulseeker’ is potent stuff – “See you at the other side,” he sings with pure heartbreak.
